Chicago, IL – Chicago, IL., was the host city for the Royal and Sovereign House of Cappadocia, Constantine the Great, and Saint Helen, The Royal Meet & Greet Reception and Knighting Investiture on June 10th & 11th, 2023, hosted by The Grand Prior of Illinois Sir Dr. James Dentley, the founder of JD3TV.
On Saturday, June 10, 2023, The Royal Meet and Greet reception was held at The Gold Coast Bentley, Rolls Royce Dealership, downtown Chicago, where guests of the royal house and Chicago’s business leaders enjoyed great food, refreshments, live entertainment by The Sax Preacher, Sandy Redd, rising star from The Voice!. The title sponsor of the event was JD3TV, along with The Champagne Sponsor, Catering by David and D’usse Cognac.
On Sunday, June 11, The Knighting Investiture was held at The Downtown Riverwalk Sheraton Hotel, where 15 individuals were sworn in at breakfast. That evening the title of Knights and Dames of The Royal House was bestowed by H.R.H. Prince Rafael Andujar y Vilches, Ph.D. The Investiture processional was right out of a storybook. It began with lights, cameras, and action on the red carpet, followed by a Royal Procession. First, Chicago’s bagpiper band, The U.S. National Color Guard, Knights, Dames of The Royal Order, Kaden Scott as the Royal Flag bearer, presented Duke Gerhart Walch, Duchess Nancy Walch, and H.R.H. Prince Rafael, who took the stage and welcomed over 170 esteemed guests and media.
Sir Bishop Billy Dorsey did a heartwarming invocation before dinner and dessert was served.
Each guest received a magnificent, beautiful Royal Order souvenir book with letters from The Governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, and a letter from The Secretary of State office, welcoming the Royal Order to Chicago, Illinois, and acknowledging the tremendous global mission of The Royal House.
Sir James Dentley and Dame Kara Dentley entered the history books as they were bestowed the titles of H.E. Baron and H.E. Baroness, along with H.E. Baron Alec Stern, who is The Grand Prior of the entire U.S. territory, H.E. Baron Sid Leluan Grand Prior of Latin Americas and Caribbean and his wife, H.E. Baroness Debbie.
Five local charities were celebrated with a donation from the Royal House and the Illinois Grand Priory, and the evening was capped off by a beautiful original selection written and performed by Grammy-winning artist Sir Billy Dorsey, Prior of Houston, Texas.
The Royal Order of Constantine the Great and St. Helen began in 324 AD. This Foundation (“Foundation”) is a charitable organization. The Royal Order of Constantine the Great and St. Helen is a fraternal organization. The mission of the Royal Order of Constantine the Great is to create a forum for the worldwide community by recognizing worthy men and women of exceptional accomplishment. Those who share a belief in chivalry, the power of faith, hope, and charity deserve to be a part of the Sovereign and Royal House of Cappadocia’s Orders of Chivalry and its Nobility. The Royal Order will sustain, teach, and propagate the Principles of the General Order of Knighthood, following the Knight’s and Dame’s code:

These principles have been defined throughout the history of the Royal Order of Constantine the Great and Saint Helen, with the core values: of protecting the weak and innocent, fighting against injustice and oppression, and striving for self-improvement, and the betterment of the community and individual lives.
