Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up YES YOU November Summit, Features Darby Mills

Vancouver, CANADA – Deb Drummond, a serial entrepreneur, is on a mission to create a global impact and awareness for the Sisterhood of Women, including hosting a monthly summit filled with speakers and attendees from multiple countries. The November Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up YES YOU Summit will feature Canadian Rock Vocalist and past lead singer of the Headpins, Darby Mills, as the keynote speaker, along with 12 featured speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including business, entrepreneurship, health, and spirituality. Speakers will share their stories and insights on how to show up, stand up, and speak up for themselves and others.

Darby Mills is a Canadian rock vocalist, former figure skater, and the past lead singer of the Headpins. She has embarked on a solo career, having signed a worldwide record contract and released both a remastered solo album and a live CD. As part of her keynote presentation during the Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up YES YOU Summit, Mills will share how life can sometimes take you down a different course. Mills had a hit debut album back in 1982 with “Turn It Loud” which sold over 500,000 copies and spawned the hit single “Don’t It Make Ya Feel” along with “People” and the title track.  Mills has formed a new band, the “Darby Mills Project”.

‘Our circumstances are different, the scenarios may be different, and where we live and how we live might be different, but we all have our voice … one voice,” says Drummond. “When we speak up for ourselves, we speak up for our sisters all over the world as well. And that’s what the Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up YES YOU Pre-Summit is all about. It’s about celebrating GUMPTION in all its fashion.”

Featured co-host for the November summit is Angel Tuccy, a media & podcast specialist who runs the NeedaGuest podcast network.

The summit is open to all women, regardless of their background or experience. The goal is to create a space where women can feel supported and encouraged to take their next step in bravery.

“Sisters that we may never even meet can feel it as each act of empowerment creates a vibration to the world and to the cosmos that quietly encourages all of us to take our next step in bravery,” says host of the series, Deb Drummond, who others have said is building a global solidarity of women.

The Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up YES YOU Summit will celebrate women and feature 12 inspiring speakers on the 8th day of each month. The Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up YES YOU Summit will be held online and is free to attend.  Registration is free but limited, and free tickets are available online at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/november-show-up-stand-up-speak-up-yes-you-global-connection-event-ticket
