Elevating Women in Transition Launches to Help Underserved Women Look and Feel Their Best

Redding, CAElevating Women in Transition, a new nonprofit organization, has launched to help underserved women look and feel their best as they transition to new chapters in their lives. The nonprofit organization will provide free hair, makeup, and wardrobe consultations and makeovers to women who are struggling financially or have experienced trauma.

The organization was founded by Patsy Sanders, a celebrity stylist with over five decades of experience. Sanders has a passion for helping women feel confident and beautiful, and she believes that a new look can be a powerful tool for self-empowerment.

“I have seen firsthand the difference that a makeover can make in a woman’s life,” said Sanders. “It can give her the confidence she needs to take on new challenges and achieve her goals.”

Elevating Women in Transition will partner with local organizations that serve underserved women, such as homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, and refugee resettlement agencies. The organization will also offer its services to women who are transitioning out of prison or addiction treatment programs.

“We want to help women who are facing challenges feel beautiful and confident,” said Sanders. “We believe that a new look can give them the boost they need to start a new chapter in their lives.”

Elevating Women in Transition is a nonprofit organization that provides “Makeovers Scholarships” that are referred by an organization or a reliable resource that can verify they are emotionally ready to accept compliments and feel good about themselves.
